This is what I have...

<div id="Layer1" style="position:absolute; left:266px; top:91px; width:526px; height:320px; z-index:1; overflow: scroll;scrollbar-face-color: #003399;
scrollbar-shadow-color: #003366;
scrollbar-highlight-color: #0000CC;
scrollbar-3dlight-color: #FFFFFF;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #000066;
scrollbar-track-color: #003366;
scrollbar-arrow-color: #FFFFFF;
">
<table width="500" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>

I don't need the horizontal scroll but I am not sure how to get rid of it.

Also I would like for the vertical track to be transparent if there is a way.

Instead of

overflow: scroll

Use

overflow: auto

Thanks that's perfect!

What about making the track transparent.

Is it possible?

If you are viewing these in IE make sure you remove the w3c site link from the top of the html section as that will kill coloured scrollbars.
