Ones that teach you LOL.

Seriously, have alook at amazon and see what grabs your attention and then look for it up town.

I'm trying to search this forum for the topic:
html books

in forum
dreamweaver

I'm getting an error message "Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information."
Is anyone else able to use the search page?

Amazon would be better, look for overall reputation/score given to book and how recent it is.

well, maybe I cannot afford a book, then what?
I have my computer, and the internet.... and google.
so.
I'll surf and read... tonight I found W3, a good intro?(I don't know yet)
http://www.w3schools.com/ ('http://www.w3schools.com/')
If you look through these pages, there is some basic html info...

I do notice that the majority of posts on this dreamweaver forum use html code to explain things, so learning html code is apparently a key to website editing.

html is just the stepping stone to better and more interactive scripting.
