Can anyone help me with coding a login feature with dreamweaver? How many pages would I need? Would I need to have a database ? If so can I use my computer as the database?

you need a scripting language to do this

do you know any

yes you can use your own machine to do this and you can use this as a testing machine

yes you will need a database to do this if you need to hold multi accounts. You could use a text file but its better to use a data base

you need to learn some languages. I suggest PHP although you could use asp, coldfusion, jsp, perl

if you want help with php thats what we are here for although you better not PM anyone as mr angry is roaming the streets and has a big stick with DONT_FKN_PM_ME written on it (mr angry knows who he is)

joking aside..

try and dip your toe into the world of php. You can install this on your home machine
