hi all, i'm starting my path into php and mysql so i can learn how to create forms, mailing lists, and login/pw forms for the sites i build and i was wondering that since these are pretty standard forms, if there were already pre-made (free if possible) templates that i can just copy and paste some php code into the html of my sites and vuala.

an example of the mailing list form would be: (at the bottom right)
http://www.hotvegasrock.com/index2.htm ('http://www.hotvegasrock.com/index2.htm')

as far as a login/pw type stuff there's millions of sites with that...i just need some help getting started. i have a hosting company that lets me create infinite mysql db's and has php installed on their server. any help is appreciated as i'm very new to this.
thanks,
nate

You can do most of what you want with Dreamweaver.

DW has what I would consider one of the best help files around and this is also a good way to learn.

It will be confusing and hard when you first start, but doing it for yourself instead of trying to suss out a free script would benefit you way more in the long run.
My site (webthings.org) is created with Dreamweaver (I only added a small amount of my own php) so as you can see DW has all the options you would like.

As for a mailing list.. check that your hoster does not offer such a feature as many do.
