Hi Guyz.... Can any1 help me on this ? I designed a webpage in Dreamweaver MX (a simple htm page). I have win2k server with IIS running where I am designing a site with asp pages. I intented to make the home page as htm and for that designed it in dreamweaver MX. So far so good. When I see the preview from the dreamweaver (F12) .. the page is displayed perfectly in my both IE and FireFox browser. But if i try to view the page on the server like http://localhost/mysite/home.htm ('http://localhost/mysite/home.htm') ,, it is displayed but the pictures are missing and , the CSS style effets are not there , shortly thepage turns haywire... Letme tell you I have given site related ref in all the links and all. Like \site_images\home_top.gif etc... but still!! its not working!!! I need sum help 4m u guys ..........

Dumb answer,

Are all your images, code etc in your 'defined site' in Dreamweaver. did you delete any files outside of Dreamweaver?

Apart from the people here. go here to get the code validated, this should let you know your mistakes if nothing else.

I'm quite sure CI and david can help you further.

make sure the image tags don't have something like //file/blah/image.gif
If it does have the //file then remove it and place images/image.gif if you have all your images in an image directory, if you have not, then you should have to keep things clean and tidy. :)
