View Full Version : creating load bar for flash sound

11-09-2005, 06:47 AM
im trying to make a little sound player in Flash, that will use some sort of loading bar indicating how long left to load when the site opens. Has flash got something like this built in?
The sound file is oly 1.5Mb now, (some of you may remember i asked a similar Q about sound and what to do.)
I also wnat play and stop buttons which are easy enough.
Thanks for any help

Wow ! thanks for the effort DJ.
i visited the flashkit website, very helpful although im just having a little trouble combining all i've learnt into the one project.
eg: loading page+(streaming audio?) + buttons with rollovers + timeline bar

yea, i love learning learning new tasks, just combining it all is more tricky than i can handle at my still 'newb' stage... hopefully not for too long after i complete a tafe course.

thanks all and DJ

Try this one ('http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Audio/Flash_MX-Tim_Murr-1008/index.php')

I is pretty advanced, but if you gollow it closely you will be able to do it.
I am not that good with flash myself, but I have created this one.
