A window by default will have a margin so make the popup window smaller than the image. That has fixed that problem for me anyway.

if you are trying to scale the window to the dimensions of an image then remove page margins

if your scaling an image to the dimentions of a window then stop it and do the above :D

Good answer davidj,

I just bought Dreamweaver yesterday and hope to be a regular poster here. With good help like your answer above this should be a really helpful site. I like the 'Picture Gallery' example posted on the front page and will spend some time examining that. I'm still such a beginner that I'm reading 'Getting To Know Dreamweaver' and wondering where I can buy the oft mentioned 'Using Dreamweaver' book.

Hmm... That link got me an error. I'm using the Safari browser on a Mac.

"Documentation - Using Dreamweaver MX 2004" Is what I just ordered direct from Macromedia documentation, as I start building a Dreamweaver library for reference. I take it that the Dreamweaver 8 book is not out yet as it was not listed on their site. I take it that this one will fill the bill for now. Is MX 2004 the version just before version 8?

Thanks,

Ken

PS Not meaning to hijack this thread but I think the answer was given definitively above.

Yes, MX2004 is the version right before 8.
