You cannot save an image as a htm file. They have got to be in an image format.

To have an image as a preview just do the same as you would for the target file and just select the image.
A browser is smart enough to know what to do with it.

Be aware that popup windows will not work in FF because by default FF stops all popups.

ok i'll try to explain this as simple as posible, sorry for not knowing terms

when i'm in DWmx i go to Preview/Debug in browser

my browser shows up with my page on it, but theres a message saying

to protect your computer security, internet explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. click here for options

i have to allow, -allow block content inorder to have my pop up window show up

is there a way to get rid of that message so everytime i don't have to choose allow block content

and well this effect the file for publishing on the internet

srry if that don't make sence

Sounds to me that this is a browser issue rather than a DW issue.
Set your IE settings to default and try again.

FF means Firefox ('http://www.getfirefox.com'), which is a web browser that is gaining much popularity.

this normaly happens when you browse a page localy (c:/path/path/path etc)

if you browse the page through http then you wont get that message.

you need to upload your page to a server

I'av had this problem when previewing an open browser window/popup in IE ,you should find when the page is uploaded to your site all wil be fine .And it's just something to live with.
