View Full Version : New site - now CSS-driven

I have just re-written a site, which previously used tables for layout. The new version is purely CSS-driven. The site has only been tested in FF, NS, IE and Opera (latest versions of each).

I would appreciate any info regarding how the site works. I am especially interested to know how it works in older browsers and Mac browsers.

Here's the new site! ('http://www.leschambres.co.za/newsite/index.htm')

And here's the old site ('http://www.leschambres.co.za/') (which is still live).

Looks great Coober.

You may want to look at the Flash Detection Kit from Macromedia

It allows you to place a small amount of code in your page that detects if the user has Flash player installed and if not can automatically redirect them to the non-flash site if desired. There are other uses for this kit that you will find after downloading it from the
Macromedia site....

Thanks for that, I'll check it out.

Just an update. The new (CSS) site is now live and can be found here. ('http://www.leschambres.co.za/')

I have made a few changes, so the homepage doesn't break when increasing the text size.
