View Full Version : How to code an eyeblaster?

I was recently on the site eyeblaster.com and was impressed by the floating ad they have to preview there. Im guessing that the advert itself is generated in flash, but how do you insert it above your page content with a see through background? Is there some type of layering going on? or javascript? or is it the way the .swf is saved down? Here is the link:

Any ideas guys?

all of 5 david? I got bored with them in about 2 LOL.

They are just annoying when you are trying to read something and this damn add sticks in your face and blocks what you are reading.

For site owners CPM on these ads must be really high. None of the advertising networks I'm in has them, but my guess they're lucurative for websites with high traffic and few returning visitors.
