Hello everyone I have 1 quick question i would love some help with. I have 5 flash files in my website and the code i am using for each flash file is.

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"
width="759" height="176" id="MyMovie">
<param name="movie" value="flash/MyMovie.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="bgcolor" value="#333333" />
<embed src="flash/MyMovie.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#333333" width="759" height="176"
name="MyMovie" align="absmiddle" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
</embed>
</object>

My question is. Do i halft to use the above code for each flash movie as this will make the page code heavy? or can I use this code for 1 flash movie and use an embed for the rest of them. Or is there a better way for mutiple flash files? Thanks any help would be great. Thanks for your time.

As far as I know you have to use a seperate <object> tag for each flash item you are embedding into your web page.

Thats correct domedia you must use seperate tags. In other word you swf files must g=have different names.

if you want all your flash playing at different locations of your page at the same time then you will need as many <object>'s as there are flash .swf

just as the domedia and dreamlynx said.

if you are calling in the flash 1 at a time in the same location (like a random banner you can use flash to call the movies (.swf) into the layer base using loadmovie therefore only requiring one <object>
