Hi
i have decided to embark on php learning as i realised a lot of employers seem to be asking for it, in addition to the other things.

so, i have been inching my way through "PHP and MySQL Web Development" (Sams) and so far so slowly good. php/mySQl and Apache all loaded and ready for action.

im still on the first chapter though. anyway, i was reading about text editors and which ones to use. is it okay to use DW ? i already have it and wondered what other people thought of using it to code, and how it faired against all the others out there.
thanks,
-dj

yes, the only problem you will face is that you will not get code hints for new functions in php5, otherwise it will function fine
