Hi, I would like to be able to add roll over box tags (not sure of the proper name). They appear on most big sites. For example on Yahoo when you roll over the main links a little yellow box appears describing more what the link is. (+on this site!)

Can anyone help?

I am using Dreamweaver 4

Hiya Pauline,
I think you are referring to tooltips which are done by the TITLE attribute in HTML.
Example:
<a href="file.html" title="More information about the AD54 Application">More info</a>

Let me know if this is works.

If you ever come across something again which you wonder how is done, a simple View->Source will display the code used for the page, and you can investigate and experiment with their code.

Managed to do it by typing the text but found it a little tricky (not good at HTML!!).

Went onto Macromedia.com and then to Dreamweaver exchange (and joined) and found that I could download a Title attribute display.

So now all I have to do is go to window and title attribute and all my links come up and I can type any tag for each one - very impressed and pleased!

Thank you for your help and letting me know what it was called :D
