View Full Version : Word wrapping in different browsers?

Hey guys,

Okay, this is the problem which I have encountered numerous times and still don't know how to resolve it. I have created a page in a website for a client. I'm using Mac OS 10.3.9 and a Firefox browser and it looks great. My client is using Windows XP and IE and the font layout looks very different. The font in the Windows browser is much larger and so it doesn't wrap around the images in the same way and leaves gaps. Please take a look at the attachment which displays the differences between the two. The one on the left is the view from the Mac browser and the one on the right is the view in the Windows browser. So my question is this - how do I make the font layout appear the same in both browsers? I've read about this quite a lot in the past and I know there is sometimes no solution but as it's quite a common theme I'm hoping somebody might have a few tips and tricks.

This page can also be viewed by going here: http://www.360scenes.tv/signature_innovations/about.php ('http://www.360scenes.tv/signature_innovations/about.php')

Thanks in advance guys...

You heard right! Its impossible.

The web is not print. Print you deal with fixed variables, web is always fluid

However use

justify, margins paddings are css properties that can be used to make it look better
