View Full Version : Dissolving Between Pages.

I'm currently working on a more extensive thread concerning my webspace research. In the meantime, I'm wondering whether you guys could help with something to do with the actual site design. I'd like the webpages to dissolve into each other, as demonstrated if you click inbetween certain pages on the following site:

http://www.museumoftalkingboards.com/ ('http://www.museumoftalkingboards.com/')

It's such a cool effect, so I'd be appreciative of any tips on how to achieve it :)

Only saw this in IE, so it's some kind of IE proprietary code.
Not standard, very annoying and cool for you does not make it cool for your users ;)
I would advice against using it.

<meta http-equiv="Page-Enter" content="blendTrans(Duration=1.0)">
<meta http-equiv="Page-Exit" content="blendTrans(Duration=1.0)">

Much appreciated, Domedia. Whereabouts would I insert the code? After <body>. I'm unsure because it governs the transition between pages as opposed to text on the page :)

All meta tags goes in the head section of your document.
The basic structure of any html document should be like this:<html>
<meta tags if you want them>
