Hello,

I want to create a calendar page for my site. I want the table to be 20 rows by 3 columns but I do not want the columns on the first row, my title row. I created the table but I can not remove the columns on the first row without deleting the columns throughout the table. Why?

Next, I can not insert leading spaces in a cell. Why? For instance, in a couple of cells I want to shift over the text five spaces to simbolize bullet items but when I hit the space bar nothing happens. I tried spliting the cell and moving over the columns but it changes the columns below and above it.

If you want a TD to span over columns use the attribute COLSPAN
Here's an exmaple:
<table summary="Calendar" border="1">
<tr>
<td colspan="3">Title</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>1</td>
<td>2</td>
<td>3</td>
</tr>
</table>

In DW's layout View you can highlight the cells you want to 'merge' and click on the Merge Tablecells button in your property window.
