i've designed a navigation bar to use in dreamweaver and the links in the navigation bar point to the files on my local harddrive. when i publish the site what are the necessary steps to ensure that the navigator will still pull up my pages when everything is now on my remote server?

i'm figuring that i then have to right down the new location that is given to the html
document once it is uploaded to my remote server and then manually input it into the navigator in flash and then update flash navigation bar in dreamweaver.

is there a better or correct way of doing this?

First make sure you have all your files within the defined site on your hardrive.

Then link to them relatively. Link like this "file.html' instead of 'C://My_folders/file.html'.

Then make sure all your files get uploaded to your server.

hey thanks for the reply. i defined the site in dreamweaver and created the navigation bar in flash. when i import the navigator into dreamweaver with the buttons linking to

(on (release) {

//Goto Webpage Behavior
getURL("C:\\RedCross Webpage\\Discography Page.htm","_self");
//End Behavior

})

it opens the file, but when i change the link to

(on (release) {

//Goto Webpage Behavior
getURL("Discography Page.htm","_self");
//End Behavior

})

it doesn't do anything.
