Hello Dreamweaver people. Thanks for your previous assistance. It's much appreciated. My site is almost ready to go online. Four pages featuring quite a bit of text are ready, but I need to sort out a problem with the comparatively minimal text on the home page and the contents page. Despite my efforts, the text on these initial pages aligns itself to the extreme left instead of centreing. Sometimes the font even changes from the required Arial to Times New Roman. It's confusing me because the coding centred text on the other four other pages easily. Any ideas? (I'll print out the coding below. Sorry it's a bit messy)... :)

Index/Title Page Coding:

Hya,

Have you got the property inspector opened this is where you can use the 'align' option. its usually pretty good!

If its not open go to window - menu - propeties from the top menu

Lets know if you need more help dreamweaverhelp!

Cheers, Kate, but the align function only enables you to align text horizontically, whereas I require text to be aligned both horizontically and vertically (i.e: perfectly aligned). Any other ideas? I'm struggling with this one. The coding I reprinted worked to centre text on the four other pages, yet not the title and contents pages, so I can't upload the site until I solve this dilemma :)

Hya,

From what I have seen in any help files and PDF'S (I collect em all lol) is to get the dimensions (horizontal and verticle) insert in a tables. in other words you have full control.

Anyway here is a good PDF that explains it all.

Thankyou, Kate. I'll have a perusal and see if it sorts it :)
