HI
i have made the width of my homepage at 760px.
i preview it, looks great.
but there remains a lot of un-used space on my screen.

i check other web-sites and the pages fill my screen perfectly, a very nice fit.

how can i ensure (if it is possible to be sure) that my page will expand across the user's screen and yet will not demand any scrolling across ?

i dont want anyone to have to scroll around on the homepage, but then again, i dont want savannahs of empty white space either.

thanks.

If you want to let your website adapt to browser size, you have to use a technique called Liquid Design (it has some other names too, fluid layout, resizable tables etc, naming conventions .. sigh.)

If you have a table website it's pretty easy to start of with. Instead of seting your table to be 750 in width, set it to 95% for example.

All the templates in our template forum ('http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=249') have a relative width like this. Use those files to learn more about the technique :)
