When i open Dreamweaver 4 (someone else installed it for me on a computer i bought from them,) it says "The local root folder, lesson files, does not exist. Please choose a new local root folder from the define sites dialog." What do i do and or will this cause java to not work, etc. THANK YOU AND HELP

It sounds as if the previous owner of your computer had made a local website
with Dreamweaver and deleted it before selling it to you. However they did not delete it from Dreamweaver so Dreamweaver is still looking for it.
It sounds like they also deleted the tutorial files for Dreamweaver.

Do as it says and go into site manager and create a new site.

For legal reasons, also make sure that the previous owner contacts Macromedia and transfers the license to you also. That goes for any other software that you have on your computer.

Moved what ??

Your best bet is to re-install Dreamweaver, then set up your sites as you like them in the site manager.
