View Full Version : Changing the Font color of Individal Text Links??

04-19-2005, 05:43 PM
I need to change the color of some of my Text Links to a different color than that of my page properties. I knew at one point in time how to do this but can't seem to remember now. Any advice would help.
Thanks, Jon

Go to top menu in Dreamweaver and click 'modify' - page properties its all in for your site. change lots of things - page colour - font - and all your links.

Use an in-line css style

link text (link.htm)

Or if you don't want to use CSS then go into the code of your page and manually insert the colour into the code. For example instead of using this...

<a href="mysite.htm">A Web Site</a>

Which would automatically make the colour of the link the same as in the page properties use this...

<a href="mysite.htm"><font color="#FF0000">A Web Site</font></a>

Hope that helps!

Yup That helped. I don't know why but when I tried to change the font color from the color picker it would not change and when I entered the code for it it still didn't. Thanks, Jon
