Okay, I'm new at this, and I'm still trying to figure out how to read code. But, there is something I can't figure out how to do. I have an embedded quicktime movie file, but I want to put a picture on top of that says "click on the picture to play clip." I'm taking that idea from the quick time trailers page (if you didn't know what I was talking about, I'm bad at phrasing things sometimes.) Anyway, so can I do that?? If not, is there a way I can get the file to not load unless the person viewing the website wants it to load?? I would really appreciate any help on the subject. Thank you so much.

You cant add html text above a .mov.
But you can add a parameter AUTOPLAY="false" to stop it from playing automatically.

The pictures on quicktimes' site are just graphic links to the actual movie.

As Domedia said you can't put anything on top of the actual movie file itself.
