Newbie here so please bear with me!

Just completed my fist site using Dreamweaver but I'm experiencing publishing problems. I've managed to get my index page online but all the images and the background image won't display. To my knowledge I've correctly defined the site and have all my images stored in a sub folder as advised by various tutorials.

Could anyone throw any light onto why I might be having these problems? Any help/advice appreciated :)

There's 2 normal reasons why this happen. The images are not on on the server The images are on the server, but your pages are not correctly referencing to them
The quick way of finding this out is to give us the website address, that way we can have a look at the sourcecode and see what's going on :)

From your source:<img src="Images/ETB-Promo-Poster-Web.jpg" alt="etb" name="etb" width="510" height="364" border="0" id="etb">

Your page is looking for "ETB-Promo-Poster-Web.jpg" in a folder called "Images" on your server. Is this where you uploaded your image?
You can see it is not there by trying to go to it directly http://www.buffsfilms.com/Images/ETB-Promo-Poster-Web.jpg ('http://www.buffsfilms.com/Images/ETB-Promo-Poster-Web.jpg')

So my 2 points in my first post still stands

Thanks for your help. I did place all my images in a folder called 'images'. At first I thought my images weren't displaying because I hadn't uploaded them to the server via the FTP. However, I attempted to upload them again last night and they all seem to be there on the server but still aren't displaying for some reason. Would there be any other reason why my pages aren't referencing the images? Thanks.

You have no such folder in the root of your public directory on your server. Try going to it in a browser and you'll see it's not there. It's not enough to have a folder on your server, the folder needs to be in the correct spot. Folder names are also case-sensitive.
