Hi, i use dreamweaver 4 to do my web design.

I'm always running into the problem of not being able to position my images exactly the way i want to.

For instance, in a table cell, i would like to insert an image, and then be able to positon that image where i want it so that it lines up like it needs to with my bg image.

Am i missing something, or am i out of luck trying to do this with dreamweaver.

Not sure if css would work for this, but i'm not familiar with css.

The most i've done with css is to style some of my text and links with the style definition panel.

Thanks again.

You really won't be able to do a good job using tables.

The only way to be sure of your positioning of elements is to use CSS and create layers with absolute positioning.

Check out your library for books on CSS or a book store.
